Windows users can also launch from the Batch file visible in Grumpy's post, for non steam launch. The ProjectZomboid64 batch file also can use a small edit. Right click the file, Edit, and delete the "-safemode" bit, File, Save, double click it to launch. Alternate way to join server and global chat about Mac users. Good info Grumpy, thanks. I don't think that this was possible at the time that Grump our savior dropped this delicious nugget, but you can now also right click on Project Zomboid in Steam, go to "Properties", click the "Set Launch Options" button, and add "-nosteam" into the text field (without the quotation marks)

This sucks :/ I'm on Mac.. The changelogs for .22 and .23 both mention that fixes for Mac users were committed, and I think you should be able to set launch options the same way you can in Windows - yeah? Or am I missing a problem? =/ |
