The Bedford area got a bit out of hand. It initially encompassed just the mansion and 6 houses in front, a cool little Alexandria of sorts and a fun 'safe haven' to stop in at.
Perhaps there should be more forum discussion on what happens In these POI areas first.

Usually as I understood it. Building in a Area prevents loot from Respawning.
And also how long its been since someone has been in the area effects it too
This plays into a factor why I hate people who build over prime looting locations, like the Police Stations or Gun Stores. It messes with the loot spawning.

Building in a Area prevents loot from Respawning. We actually keep that option disabled here - player construction won't impede loot respawn It looks like we're set for 4 hours for loot respawn as well, right now - so to have a chance at re-rolling loot, chunks need only go unseen for about 10 minutes, I believe. I generally support the option of players building on POIs so long as loot-respawning containers are left intact. Some people build some neat community structures on them - and anyone who tries to hold them explicitly for their own use tends to learn pretty quickly how terrible of an idea that is . Plus, they tend to be reset more than anything else on the map - so such structures don't usually stick around for the full duration between full hard-resets. Of course you don't have to agree with me - it's a topic fit for discussion (in another thread )
